So, you would like to sail to St. Michaels, eh?

Here is what I think would make for a very nice day. Not just for the sailing, but also for a visit to the St. Michael's Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, (to which I would provide tickets), and/or a shopping trip to the quaint shops in St. Michaels itself.

The itinerary would go something like this.

    1. Leave from Kent Narrows at 8:45 am. (If the party wishes to leave later, that can be accommodated).
    2. Sail to St. Michaels. This can vary in time based on the wind/conditions. If it looks like time is a wasting for those that want to get to our destination, we can bring up the "Iron horse" i.e.: the Diesel. (Approx. 2 1/2 hrs to 3 hrs time).
    3. Dock at the Museum's bulkhead.
    4. Tickets would be provided for the Museum. The passengers may visit the Museum and/or town. (Perhaps taking in lunch, ice cream or spending all the time at the museum). (Approx. 2 1/2 to 3 hrs).
    5. Sailing back to Kent Narrows. (Approx. 2 1/2 to 3 hrs).

Overall, the trip will probably consume approx., 7-1/2 to not more than 9 hrs, and we should arrive back at the home slip sometime prior to 6:00 p.m. at the latest.

Snacks and soft drink will be provided while on the boat. If any of the party would want to bring their own snacks, lunch, etc, they may do so. There are picnic tables at the Museum as well.

Please note that this is not one of those sailboat charters that go out and back in 1 hr. This is a full day of adventure and discovery!
